Liverpool Thrash Fulham Away from Home



Liverpool are back in the title race by getting an emphatic win over Fulham. This was a much needed win for them to stay in the title race against Arsenal and Man City. Liverpool managed to beat Fulham3-1 in a very exciting match which was played at the Craven Cottage. 


This is after having a terrible week by getting bundled out of the Europa League by a 6th placed Atalanta. With the return of their star Diogo Jota, they performed incredibly with Jota managing to get into the score sheet. Jota had been suffering from and injury.






This positions Liverpool at number 2 with Arsenal at the top of the table and Man City number 3. Number one and two are both sharing 74 points with Arsenal having many goals than Liverpool.
Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the scoresheet in the 32nd minute. Fulham cancelled the lead when Timothy Castagne scored in the 47th minute.




Ryan Graven berch gave Liverpool the lead in the 53rd with Diogo Jota sealing the lead in the 72nd minute.

Gunners' redemption against Wolves

The Gunners have been having a terrible run in their recent matches. They lost to Aston Villa at home in the English Premier League and dropped out of the Champions League in the hands of Bayern Munich. Going into the game against Wolves, they needed to win so as to remain in the title race against Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal dominated the game. There were a lot missed. When the final whistle blew, the gunners were leading 2-0 Leandro Trossard put the gunners ahead 45 minutes into the game with a spectacular sliced effort, which found its way into the top corner. Odegaard found the back of the net with an angled rebound in the stoppage time. It was a crucial win for the visitors after a difficult and tiring week. This win sees the gunners move one point above the leaders Man City in the title race. However, Man City have not played one game. This was the statistics of the match. LIVERPOOL GET KNOCKED OUT OF THE EUROPA CUP !!

Liverpool faced a monumental task in the Europa League, needing to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit against Atalanta at the Anfield.
