Jurrien Timber is Back with a Bang !!

It was the PL2 match against U21 Blackburn Rovers and Arsenal at the Etwoood Park. It was an amazing return for Jurrien Timber as he took part in the U21 match against a tough-sided Blackburn Rovers. In the 8th minute, he gave his side the lead. turned remarkably on the left side of the box and curled a shot past the goalkeeper into the top corner to put his side ahead by 1-0.  

The Dutchman suffered an ACL injury in the 2023/2024 EPL match against Nottingham Forest at the beginning of the season.

It has been 8 months since he was in action, and his game looked impressive. 

Arsenal were rewarded for the decision to give him a trial in this game

They were held to a 2-2 draw.

It is however uncertain if he will be included in the match against Tottenham during the weekend. According to Arteta, he did not affirm if he is in a good condition to be in the line-up. 

He however was pleased at the progress of his recovery.

Gunners' redemption against Wolves

The Gunners have been having a terrible run in their recent matches. They lost to Aston Villa at home in the English Premier League and dropped out of the Champions League in the hands of Bayern Munich. Going into the game against Wolves, they needed to win so as to remain in the title race against Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal dominated the game. There were a lot missed. When the final whistle blew, the gunners were leading 2-0 Leandro Trossard put the gunners ahead 45 minutes into the game with a spectacular sliced effort, which found its way into the top corner. Odegaard found the back of the net with an angled rebound in the stoppage time. It was a crucial win for the visitors after a difficult and tiring week. This win sees the gunners move one point above the leaders Man City in the title race. However, Man City have not played one game. This was the statistics of the match. LIVERPOOL GET KNOCKED OUT OF THE EUROPA CUP !!

Liverpool faced a monumental task in the Europa League, needing to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit against Atalanta at the Anfield.
